2011's Harvest Festival

May has arrived! my favourite month of the year. hahahahaha.

Guess who took part for this year Unduk Ngadau? It's Carol man.. Carol. Like could you ever imagine a sporty plus tomboy girl who really have no interest in pageantry took part in this prestigious event of the year? I dont.

So yes, Carol took part along with Krem (which is both happened to be my senior and they like so close with us) as well as Debra. Debra? Yes. last year 7th Place KDCA. I dont know why she decided to rejoin but i kinda not really like the idea of rejoining the pageant after a year competing. But thats her choice though.

This year Debra wasn't managed by Aunty Rok but Victoria Saloon did her makeup and hair bun. I dont know whether they an issues that we dont know or she just want to try a fresh air. Carol and Krem was managed by Aunty Rock along with Fredericka. Yes, she was last year Tuaran's 3rd Runner Up try her luck again this year. Not to mention, last year 2nd Runner Up also rejoin. Hmmmm, seems they're really craving for the crown huh.

Jaejay, Juan, Priscilla and I arrived at Tun Hamdan very early that day but the Hall was so crowded because Tuaran is the hostdistrict this year. Tamparuli have never packed as this one like we need to walk and parked at SARS because there was no parking. But lucky us, we managed to find a seat.

The Unduk Ngadau Competition began at 1PM and Debra was the 1st constestant, Carol was the 3rd contestant and Krem 8th. On my first observation, Carol indeed the most stunning candidate of the day, she will grab the crown tonight i said. The shocking moment was Debra wasn't included in the TOP 8 semifinalist. That was her first lost. Just like Ledesma, she always went home with a crown except for KDCA.

But Judges decision is final. We should respect the judges choice and move on. at the end of the competition, Carol won. Jovinia came 2nd place and will be representing Tamparuli (she was ex Unduk Ngadau Klang Valley and KDCA's Semifinalist), Ladyana claimed the 3rd place, Gurjit the third runner up and Nelcy was 4th Runner Up.
